Joe Ferrante has been painting for over 30 years. Working in oils, watercolors, gouache and acrylic (preferred), his realisitic and natural wildlife images have won several awards from organizations such as Ducks Unlimited Canada, British Columbia Wildlife Federation, Guides & Outfitters of BC., and Chrysler Search for Canadian Artists.
Joe Ferrante was selected the BC Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year for 2000 and 2005. "Chickadees and Crabapples" (below, artist proofs sold out) was picked for 2000. "Red Breasted Sapsucker" was picked for 2005, and is available for sale as Limited Edition Artist proofs. An edition of 250 Artist Proofs at $150 each.
